Board of Zoning Appeals

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Zoning Appeals of Clinton County OH, will hold a public hearing DECEMBER 10, 2025, at 5:30 pm in the Community Room, 111 S Nelson Ave, Wilmington.

2025-31 – Joshua George, owner, is requesting a Variance to CCZR 3.19 (C) (3) to allow less than the required side setback for a single-family dwelling. The property is zoned R-R Rural Residential, located at 6430 SR 730, Vernon Township, Parcel ID 3000213000000.

2025-32 – The Melvin Stone Company, LLC, applicant, is requesting a Conditional Use per CCZR 3.35 and ORC 303.02 which allows mineral extraction as a conditional use in any zoning district with an active mining permit under ORC 1514. The property is zoned A-1 Agriculture, located on Stone Rd, Wilson Township, Parcel ID 370041801000100.

Rural Zoning Commission

Notice is hereby given that the Rural Zoning Commission of Clinton County OH, will hold a public hearing NOVEMBER 25, 2025, at 5:30 pm in the Community Room, 111 S Nelson Ave, Wilmington. 

02-2025 - The purpose of the hearing is to review, for a second time, and act on map amendments to the Clinton County Zoning Map.  The amendments for both the text and map can be seen at this link: https://storymaps.arcgis.com/stories/930cf609a94344918eced241fd0b946a
