Proposals for the Demolition of 132 Main Street, New Vienna, Ohio will be received by the Clinton County Board of Commissioners at their office located at 46 S. South Street, Wilmington, OH  45177 until  10:45 a.m., Monday, November 22, 2021, and then at 11:00 a.m. at said office opened and read aloud.  All bids must be submitted electronically through Bid Express.


Bidders can download the specifications by registering for a free account at  Proposals are to be electronically submitted through the (service fees apply) prior to the above-stated time.  No paper proposals will be accepted.  Late proposals will not be accepted.  Any questions regarding accessing the bid documents should be addressed to the Clinton County Commissioners at (937) 382-2103.


Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid amount with a surety satisfactory to the aforesaid Clinton County Board of Commissioners. Bid Bonds shall be accompanied by Proof of Authority of the official or agent signing the bond.  Electronic copies will be submitted with the bid.  Originals will be required from the low bidder before award. 


The attention of bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in this bid packet, particularly to the various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions.


No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.  Clinton County reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.  The cost estimate with contingencies is one hundred twenty-five thousand ($125,000) Dollars.


There will be a pre-bid walk-through on November 15, 2021. Contractors are to meet at 10:00 a.m. at 132 Main Street, New Vienna, Ohio, 45159.
