Orion, Inc. is a private not-for-profit organization that provides work and non-work day services to individuals with developmental disabilities. Orion has 93 individuals enrolled. On a daily basis, 55-65 individuals attend the Orion program to participate in paid work, scheduled non-work activities, Pieces of Heart Art Studio, community outings and community service projects.
Orion Inc. also develops and supports community employment opportunities for adults and students referred for employment services. Orion staff consists of 5 management staff, 10 Direct Support Professionals, 6 drivers and one Administrative Assistant.
The focus at Orion is to provide choices throughout the day that support independence, skill building, self-direction and a positive experience.
