Employment First

Employment First is a statewide initiative designed to support adults and students of working age with developmental disabilities explore career options, seek jobs that fit their skills and interests, and realize their full potential in the community. In 2012 Governor John Kasich signed the Employment First Initiative.  He later stated "Ohio's workforce is enhanced when individuals with disabilities are employed and Ohio is fully committed to working with individuals with disabilities to utilize their education, qualification, talents and experiences to help them achieve employment."  For more information please see the Employment First website: www.ohioemploymentfirst.org

Clinton County works in collaboration with many resources throughout Ohio to support local students and individuals on their paths to employment.
