The Clinton County Solid Waste Management District offers a number of educational programs ranging from school and community presentations to various contests for local children. To obtain information about these programs, click on one of the specific items listed below.
- REQUEST A PRESENTATION - Schedule a FREE recycling or litter prevention presentation for your classroom, organization, or civic group.
- SCRAP WRAP NEWSLETTER - Attention Educators!!! Tap into local recycling and litter prevention information involving your school by checking out the latest Scrap Wrap newsletter, or feel free to scroll through our archives and view past issues.
- Bottle-Bin Recycling Containers Request Form - Is your school planning a carnival, school dance, or other special event? Well now you can reserve up to ten Bottle-Bin recycling containers in order to promote recycling of aluminum cans and plastic bottles, while at the same time reducing your overall waste. This program is FREE to all Clinton County schools, businesses, and other organizations.
- Request Portable Recycling Barn - This 8’X4’ portable structure, shaped like a miniature barn, can be placed at the site of your school's or organization's next event for the purpose of providing individuals with a way to recycle various materials.
- PEAR Grants - Find out more about financial support offered by the Solid Waste Management District for recycling and litter prevention programs in Clinton County schools. These programs are available to both public and private schools, and include local preschools and colleges.
