Town and Country School currently operates two preschool classrooms.  Each classroom consists of up to eight children with identified disabilites.  We have a school administrator, two special education teachers, two classroom aides, a speech pathologist, and a nurse.  We have a curriculum that is aligned with Ohio's Academic Content Standards.  In addition to the curriculum, all students have individual education plans (IEP) that the staff implement.  Additional services may be offered depending on the needs identified in the IEP, including but not limited to speech therapy, transportation, occupational therapy (OT) or physical therapy(PT).

The local school districts are responsible for evaluating children who have suspected disabilites.  Should it be determined that these children have documented disabilities, then IEPs are developed which determines needed services, which may include placement into one of our preschool classrooms.  Should you have any questions regarding the evaluation of students and subsequent development of IEPs, please contact Pam Stephens, our School Administrator, or the school district representative within the district that you live.  Contact information has been provided for your convenience: Wilmington City Schools, (937) 383-2327; East Clinton Local Schools, (937) 584-2765; Clinton-Massie Local Schools, (937) 289-4166; and Blanchester Local Schools, (937) 783-2732.
